What is a quote?

Following on from the last post "What is an estimate?". It seemed necessary to explain what a quote means from us.

What is a quote?

A quote is the cost of a project agreed before hand.

Why might I receive a quote?

You will likely get a 'quote' as opposed to an 'estimate' when the project is well defined. For example "four product cutouts". This tells us everything we need to know. We know that the price for this is fixed.
